Premium Ash Hurling Stick | Powerful Handmade GAA Hurley

Premium Ash Hurling Stick for players, clubs, schools and sports programmes seeking a traditional handmade hurley for hurling practice and match preparation. This product is positioned around the classic ash hurley style described in the supplied product source, with options for custom production and wholesale sports-equipment supply.

Premium Ash Hurling Stick for Hurling

A traditional ash hurling stick combines a shaped handle with a broad bas designed to support striking, control and ball carrying. Handmade production allows the maker to work with the natural characteristics of the timber and refine the profile for the intended player size and use. Final dimensions, weight, handle profile and bas shape should be confirmed against the approved production specification before bulk manufacture.

Handmade Ash Hurley Construction

Ash has a long association with traditional hurley making. The supplied product information describes a handmade high-quality ash and fibreglass-oriented hurling stick, while current hurling equipment is also available in alternative composite materials. For this product, the exact ash grade, reinforcement method, finish, grip treatment and manufacturing process should be confirmed before production so buyers receive the required specification.

Built for Striking, Control and Training

The Premium Ash Hurling Stick can be used for striking practice, puck-outs, first-touch drills, ball control and structured team training. Hurling rules permit players to strike the sliotar with the hurley and to carry the ball balanced or hopping on the hurley, making the stick central to the sport’s technical skills.

The GAA has published updated hurley dimensions. Current guidance lists juvenile hurleys up to and including 26 inches with a maximum bas of 15 cm, junior hurleys up to and including 30 inches with a maximum bas of 16 cm, and senior hurleys from 30 inches up to and including 37 inches with a maximum bas of 17 cm. Adult goalkeeper hurleys have a maximum bas of 21 cm. These dimensions should be checked against the current GAA guidance and the intended playing grade before production.

Ash Hurling Sticks for Clubs and Schools

Clubs, schools and academies can use ash hurleys for structured skills sessions, individual practice and team preparation. Buyers can specify intended player grade, length, bas profile, handle preferences, finish and quantity. Maintaining a documented production specification is especially useful for repeat club orders and wholesale programmes.

Custom OEM and Wholesale Hurling Sticks

THIZ International supports OEM, private-label and wholesale sports-equipment manufacturing. Buyers can discuss quantities, branding, packaging, colours and production requirements for a dedicated hurling equipment range. Custom requirements should be agreed before production, particularly when different player sizes or playing grades are required.

Quality Checks Before Bulk Production

Before a bulk order, buyers should confirm the required length, bas width, weight, timber specification, reinforcement, handle profile, finish and packaging. For official competition use, the finished hurley should be checked against the applicable current GAA requirements for its intended grade. A pre-production sample can help confirm balance, feel and dimensions before larger manufacturing quantities are approved.
